Applications are invited from qualified candidates for appointment against following posts at Sindh University Campus @ Mirpurkhas,
Sindh University Laar Campus @ Badin and administrative posts at the University of Sindh:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
01 Lecturer Lecturer: : Master’s Degree BCS/ BS (16 years degree) First Class in the relevant Field
I with no 3rd division in the academic career from HEC recognized University/Institution.
(Teaching Experience preferable, if any).
— 1. DIRECTOR, DISTANCEEDUCATION BPS19
Ph.D I M.PhiI or MS in any field of Social Sciences, Degree ¡n Distance Education shall be preferable.
05 year teaching Experience, including at least 2 year ¡n Reputable Higher Education Institutions. Experience in Distance
Education and Quality Management in Education will be preferred.
Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
Strong Analytical and Writing Skills.
Ability to Develop Modules for Distance Education and provide Guidance to Distant Faculty Members and Students.
Should be skilled in MS Office and Online Communication.
2. SYSTEM SUPPORT ENGINEER BPS-16
a. B.E. (Computer System Engineering) with at-least CGPA 3.0 will be preferable.
b. 03 years Experience in Network and Systems Administration.
C. Experience ¡n Repair and Recover from Hardware or Software Failures.
d. Able to app’y OS Patches and Upgrades on a Regular basis and Upgrade Admînistrative Tools and Utilities.
e. Perform Daily System Monitoring, Verifying the Integrity and Availability of All Hardware, Server Resources, Systems and Key
Processes, Reviewing System and Application Logs and VerIfying Completion of Scheduled Jobs such as Backups.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
a. Prescribed application forms for the posts B-18 and above are obtainable from the Office ofthe Deputy Registrar (Admn.Teach.) on
payment of Rs.I000/- each, through a challan, payable ¡ri Habib Bank Ltd. Allama 1.1. Kazi Campus, Jamshoro and Elsa Kazi Campus,
Hyderabad. For grade below 1 8 a simple application along with the required documents should be submitted.
b. Application form with full particu’ars along with attested photo copies of CNIC, Degrees, Pass and Marks Certificates from Matricu
lation onwards and transcripts should reach in the office of the Registrar on or before 1 6ih March, 2012.
C. The applications received after due date! incomplete in any manner shall not be entertained and shall be rejected.
d. Applicants already ¡n-service should apply through proper channel. Applications not received through proper channel shall not be
entertained.
e. Number of vacancies can be increased or decreased by the authorities without assigning any prior notice.
f. Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate application forms with required documents, complete in all
respects.
g. A recent passport size photograph should be affixed on the application form.
h. The University reserves the right to cancellation of advertised posts at any stage.
