1. Case No. F.9/2/1 I -CJ-PPE. Competitive Examination, 2011 for recruitment to Five (05) posts of Civil
Judges/Judicial Magistrates (BS-18), underthe Gilgit-Baltistan Judiciary will be held simultaneously
at Islamabad and Gilgit for candidates belonging to Gilgit-Baltistan. Both male & female candidates
possessing the relevant domicile are eligible.
2. Qualification I Experience: ACandidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Law from a
recognized University or is a Member of the Faculty Advocates of ScoU and and has actively practiced
the profession of Law for not less than two years after having been enrolled as an Advocate. (Proof of
enrollment and practice required).
Explanation: For the purposes of Experience, the expression “practiced the profession of law”
shall include any period of Government service by a person as District Attorney, Government
Pleader, Public Prosecutor, Special Public Prosecutor, Additional District Public Prosecutor,
Deputy District Prosecutor orAssistant Public Prosecutor on behalf of Govern ment.

4. Age Relaxation: In the case of in-service Government Servant who has continuously served in
connection with the affairs of the Federal or the Gilgit-Baltistan Government for a period not less than
three years, the upper age limit shall be 35 years. Employees of Nationalized Banks, State Bank of
Pakistan, WAPDA, Autonomous Bodies and other Semi Autonomous Bodies are not entitled to
relaxation under this provision.
5. Exam Fee: The Exam Fee Rs. 1500/- (non-refundable) is to be deposited in the nearest National
Bank of Pakistan under the Head of Account “C-02101-Organs of State, FPSC Exam Fee”. Blank
Treasury Challan (T.R.6) is available at FPSC website, which can be downloaded.
6. The Application Forms, Instructions and Guidelines of the Syllabi can be downloaded w.e.f.
12-12-2011 from FPSC website www.fpsc.gov.pk. It can also be obtained on production of original
treasury receipt as proof of depositing the examination fee of Rs. 1500/- from the under mentioned
