Pakistan WAPDA invites applications to fill in few vacancies of Environment &
Sociology for Water Wing Projects. Tarbela and Dasu Hydropower Project for
appointment on one year contract basis (likely to be extended on satisfactory
performance).
Nomenclature of Minimum Required Qualification Age

Dy. Director 1) M.Sc (Environmental Sciences) with thesis ¡n EHS 26-35
(Environment) or study EHS as major subject OR M.Sc years
BPS-18 Ex-Cadre Environmental Engineering from the university
post recognized by PEC/HEC. Having 5 years of practical
expenence ¡n water related mega projects
specifically in the implementation of EMMP/EMP
of Hydropower Project, Ph.D in environment will
be preferred. Fluent in English Language (RWI) and
Pashtu Language (RWI).
2) Knowledge of Computer Operating System.

firms of repute dealing with Social Sciences,
Gender Sensitivities, Project affected people
aspirations, Grievances, Redressel Mechanism,
tendency to be amiable and social issues related to
mega Hydel Projects. Fluent in English Language
(RWI) and Pashtu Language (RWI).
Knowledge of Computer Operating System.

(www.wapda.gov.pk).
. The candidates will have to appear for written test for which noTA/DA shall be
paid.
. The selected candidates will have to serve anywhere ¡n Pakistan for the above
post.
. Applications along with the following documents should be reached In this
office by post latest by 16.07.201 2.
a) Attested copies of all academic qualifications along with detail marksheets for
each semester/examination passed.
b) Experience Certificate.
c) Attested copy of Domicile Certificate.
d) Attested copy of C,N.I.C and one personal photograph.
Note:
i. Recruitment will be made purely on the basis of available vacancies at the
time of appointment.
