Established in 1885 and located in the heart of Karachi (near Habib Bank Plaza), SMI is the historic most institution of the
country having the distinction of being the alma mater of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ah Jinnah. It has recently been elevated
to the level of a University through an Act of Sindh Assembly with the objective of establishing a world-class University.
