Development Action for Mobilization and Emancipation (DANIEN) is a non-i
profit, non governmental organization established in May. 1992 and working for
alternative development at grass-root level in Pakistan. By its Micro Finance
program. DAMEN is providing financial assistance to the economically active
women of low—income household to improve their living standards by investing in
their running micro-entrepreneurs.
At present DAMEN have its own three customized systems namely (LTS-Loan
Tracking System. F1S-Financial Information System and [IRIS Human Resource
Information System). DAMEN is planning to integrate these three systems into one
LRI. Ilowever, before continuing to invest in these systems DAMEN’s management
needs to know the actual worth of these systems. most importantly the gaps in these
systems and therefore needs a formal IS Audit.
The services to be provided by the Individual Audit Consultant , Audit Firm(s)
include:
I- Audit the existing MIS System.
Review and Evaluation of IT system oÍDAMEN.
Review and assess whether the IS function aligns with the organization’s
mission, vision, values, objectives and strategies.
Review and assess the effectiveness of IS resource and performance
management processes.
Review and assess compliance with legal. environmental and information
quality, and fiduciary and security requirements.
Review and assess the control environment ofthc organization.
Review and assess the risks that may adversely affect the IS environment,

governance as propagated on I SACA website (www.isaca.org).

details ofsimilar consulting projects.
In addition to eligibility (Clause I .11) set out in the procurement Guidelines of World
Bank mentioned below, the following entities are ineligible:
• Consultant (s) having any of their team members on Board of Directors or Board
of(iovernors oIDAMF.N working in the distracts ofchoice ofthe consultants
Consultants will be selected based on the Consultant’s Qualification method in
accordance with Para 3.7 & 3.K of the procedures set out in the World Bank’s
Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by flank Borrowers, January
1997, Revised October 2006.
