The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) ¡n collaboration with District Government Muuafar Garh
has implemented two early recovery projects in district Muzaffar Garh. These programmes have been funded
by AUSAID and “Match Against Poverty” (MAP) grant and focus on livelihood Improvement through
agricultural income restoration and livestock and enterprise development. The services of a consultant
having more than seven years experience of completing assignments of similar nature and possess masters
degree in social sciences/development sector are required for approximately 20 days to write
progress/terminal reports for these initiatives.
Objectives of consultancy:
. To compile a project progress report using the Standard Format
. To validate the data / progress reported by the project
Scope of Work:
The consultant will prepare a project progress report usrig the UNDP standard format. The report will use
both the secondary data available with the project as well as the additional Information to be collected by the
consultant from the field. More specifically, the consultant will:
. Compile the secondary available with the project (Implementing Partner)
. Randomly validate at least 10% of the information provided by the IP including the project
beneficiaries
. Collect primary data especially to assess the impact of the project on the livelihoods of the project
beneficiaries
. As part of the report, prepare at least four (4) success stories by interviewing the selected
beneficiary
. Using the UNDP standard format, prepare a project progress report
Outputs / Deliverables:
. Draft progress report — wIthin 15 days of the signing of the contract
. Final progress report — within 5 days of the receipt of comments on the draft progress report
