VACANCY POSITION
The Sindh Government ¡s cognizant of the need to expand its
revenue base and restructure its revenue organization. It ¡s,
therefore, seeking the services of a motivated individual with
private and public sector experience to drive change, expand the
revenue base and move the Sindh taxation environment towards
a more equitable, broad based and objective oriented focus.
It ¡s, therefore, seeking an individual for the position of
Chairman Sindh Revenue Board on contract basis with the
following qualifications and experience to lead, manage and
drive change through the Sindh Revenue Board.
Position: Chairman Sindh Revenue Board
Qualifications:
Post-Graduate Diploma or Degree in Finance or Law, preferably
with courses or modules including corporate finance, acquisitions
and mergers and I or banking and finance.
Experience:
International experience of working for five years in one of the
top tier accounting or law firms with transactional experience
relevant to restructuring, acquisitions or mergers with preferably
some tax-driven restructuring experience;
Management experience of working on the management board
of a top national or multinational business with a turnover of at least
loo million dollars for at least two years either as a government
representative or on a standalone basis in the private sector;
Familiar with legal structures underlying outsourcing, externalization
arrangements and partnership structures; and
Government or semi-government experience in Pakistan is
preferable but not mandatory.
Experience of national and comparative cross border environments
and ability to structure and enforce good compliance practices.
Age: 45 and above.
