TRAINING CONSULTANT
Training on First Aid, Fire fighting & Search and Rescue
Concern Worldwide Pakistan is looking for a trainer/institute to provide training on First Aid, Firefighting & Search and
Rescue for Community Emergency Response Teams in Charsadda, Dadu and Muzaffargarh districts.
The overall objective of the trainings is ‘to enhance the capaaty of communities’ Emergency Response Teams in each target
Union Council so that they are able to undertake pnmary emergency response activities in the event of any disaster within
the Union Councils’.
I Specific Objectives I
To enhance the participants’ knowledge and skills on the concepts of community action for disaster response including;
. Community Response Group and Basic Information Command System (ICS) at Community Level
. First Aid & Basic Life Support
• Community Quick Response Sorting Techniques
• Dead Body Management
• Light Search & Rescue Techniques! Hailing Search
• Light Search & Rescue Techniques! Lifting and Stabilizing Loads
. Light Search & Rescue Techniques ! Water Rescue
• Community level fire fighting.
I Outputs of the consultancy I
. Develop and share training schedules in three districts (Charsadda, Dadu and Muzaffargarti) as detailed in the
timef rame below.
. Develop training module materials/hand-outs for the trainings based on the above mentioned aspects of
community action foc disaster response.
. Provide information on the theoretical context and conduct practical exercises in which participants can practice
disaster response techniques.
. Facilitate training for 6,250 Emergency Response Team members in their districts.
. Submit participants’ comprehensive evaluation and a training report within two weeks of completion of the training.

Complete all trainings within one month from the date of contract signed between the two parties.

Preference will be given to consultants /institutions with a specialised team who have experience in providing training in
the above mentioned topics and in working in the capacity building of search and rescuelfirst aid teams.
I Submission of Expression of Interest:
Consultants/institutions who meet the requirements are invited to submit their expression of interest, which should
include the following:
. Cover letter detailing the consultants/institutions suitability for the assignment and current contact information.
. CVs of the team members, including detailed work experience, education: please cleay identify the overall lead
consuhant.
• Trainings plan and the number of days required against each training.
. Budget details including each of the following; consultancy fee, travelling cost (boarding odging), stationery and
printing cost and any other expected costs
All applications should be clearly marked as ‘Consultant for First Aid, Fire fighting & Search and Rescue Training’ and
