Applications are invited from the qualified and experienced professionals
domiciled ¡n Sindh for the post of “Deputy Director (Operations)” on
contract basis initially for one year, further extendable on satisfactory
performance and mutual consent.
Job Description
. Report to Director Operations and Managing Director, Zulfikarabad
Development Authority.
. Planning, review designs, prepare bidding documents, evaluate
reports, conduct engineering explorations in the field. Prepare and
Interpret construction documents, inspect and write technical reports.
. Manage office works in the head office as well as in the field.
. Help Planning Department in Preparation of Master Plan.
. Prepare drawings, specifications and tender documents for conclusion
of contracts by department itself.
. Checking I verification of Contractor’s bill.
. Approval of building materials, quarry sites and testing laboratories.
. Preparation of engineering estimates using prevailing rates and best
engineering estimates.
. Preparation of progress reports, analyze construction schedules and
method of construction.
. Preparation of TOR, coping and quantities of the projects.
• Conduct pre-qualification of consultants I contractors, inviting tenders,
technical evaluation of received bids, processing for approval and award.
• Prepare and Generate reports using computer softwares i.e.
AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project and Primavera etc.
Job Profile
1. Postgraduate degree in CMI EngIneering from a reputable and
accredited university.
2. At least Six (6) Years diverse professional experience.
3. Valid Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEG).
4. Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project,
Primavera.
5. Competent and proficient understanding various software programs
such as AutoCAD, MS Office.
6. Ability to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical
and problem-solving capabilities.
7. Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including
upper management, clients, and other departments.
8. Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
lo. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure
environment.
