HIPAA Privacy & Security Officer Required
A US-based healthcare IT Company requires a HIPAA
Privacy & Security Officer for its Rawalpindi office. The Ideal
candidate must have proven experience to perform the
following tasks:
. Maintaining current knowledge of applicable American
federal and state privacy and security laws and
regulations.
. Developing privacy and security policies and
procedures.
. Coordinating with Legal Counsel, management,
relevant departments, and committees to create and
maintain required documents.
. Developing, implementing and monitoring the
Compliance Program.
. Routinely conducting compliance audits.
• Developing and implementing a procedure for
receiving, investigating, and resolving issues about
the company’s privacy/security policies and
procedures.
Essential Requirements:
. Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Should possess general knowledge of HIPAA
regulations.
. Should have a working knowledge of privacy &
security policies with regards to healthcare
compliance.
• Some experience of conducting compliance audits.
. Excellent communication and MS Office computer
skills are essential.
. Persons with some Legal exposure are encouraged to
apply.
