Applications are invited from retired Railways Officers for recruitment as Senior Mechanical Engineer
Project (BS-1 8) on contract basis under the project of 202 coaches. The details are given below:
1-
Name of Posts
Senior Mechanical Engineer (BS-18) one post
3-
Place of Posting
Railway Headquarters office Lahore or anywhere in Pakistan
Qualification &
Experience:
i. Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 15
years experience in Railway Mechanical Department.
or
ii. 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology with
minimum Experience of 25 years in Railway Mechanical
Department.
The applicants should have knowledge and experience about
operation and maintenance of Locomotives and Coaches including
Chinese Carriages as well, to how lodge and get settle warranty
claims, budgeting, watching performance and procurement
procedures etc.

Maximum age limit,
Terms and Conditions.
Upto 65 years
Other terms & conditions like salary, leave, TA/DA, accommodation
will be admissible as per rules.
Period of Contract
Two years extendable as perthe requirement of the Project.
6-
Termination of
Contract.
On one month notice on either side or payment of one month pay in
lieu thereof.
