SITUATION VACANT
Application are invited from the Pakistani Nationals, who are not mar-
ned to a foreign national, on the prescribed form downloadable from
University website (http://www.uvas.edu.pk/download/) (separately for
BPS and US) for making appointments on regulan iTS) temporary
(likely to become permanent) at Main Campus, Lahore, Ravi Campus,
Pattoki, Jhang Campus and on purely contract basis at Para-Veterinary
School, Kot Lai Easson, Layyah.
Applications are required in quadruplicate for the posts of professors &
Associate Professors, triplicate for the posts of Assistant Professors &
Lecturers, duplicate for non-academic posts with attested copies of
testimonials, certificates, transcripts alongwith one recent attested
passport size photograph and a crossed bank draft! pay order of
Rs2,000/- (non refundable) drawn in favour of Treasurer, University of
Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore.
3 Persons already employed in Government or other organizations
should submit their applications through proper channel within due
date. The requisite No Objection Certificate from present employer
must reach in the Office of the Registrar before or on the last date for
the receipt of applications failing which such applications will be treat-
ed as rejected and no call for interview will be issued.
All Government employees who intend to apply for the posts through
proper channel shall clarify through the Heads of the attached depart-
ments that there is no pending inquiry/ outstanding dues against them.
Moreover, there are no adverse remarks in any of their annual confi
dential reports. These conditions are necessary for the grant of depart-
mental permission certificate/ No Objection Certificate (NCC).
s Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be
entertained.
3 The candidates holding professional degrees must be recognized! reg-
istered by the relevant Council.
7 The University reserves the right:
a. not to fill any or all the advertised posts without assigning any rea
son’
b. to adjust’ transfer I post the selected candidate at any campus/
centre of the University.
C. to short list the applicatìons/ candidates in accordance with the cri-
tena to be determined by the Vice Chancellor.
d. to increase or decrease the number of posts.

I . SIx (06) Professors on regular basis In BPS-21 Le. Rs.40000-2600-

Dairy Technology (Ravi Campus) (ii) One - Wildlife & Ecology (Ravi
Campus) (iii) One - Pharmaceutics (iv) One - Pharmaceutical
Chemistry (y) One - Biochemistry (vi) One - Biotechnology! Molecular
Biology
Qualifications (BPS): Ph.D. from an HEC recognized Institution in the
relevant field.
Experience: 15 years teaching! research experience ¡n HEC recog
nized University or a postgraduate institution or professional experi
ence ¡n the relevant field in a national or International Organization.
Publication: 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications ¡n
last 5 years) in HEC recognized journals.
OR
lo Years post-Ph.D. teaching/ research experience in a recognized
University or a postgraduate institution or professional experience in
the relevant field in a National or International organization.
Minimum Qualification. Experience & Publications (TTS): Ph.D. f
Relevant terminal qualification from a recognized an
