LEPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES I
Government of Punjab, Energy Department invites applicaons from suitable and

A. PUNJAB POWER DEVELOPMENT BOARD
1. Deputy Project Manager (Mechanical) (1 Post)
. (Age Mm: 35, Max: 45 years) Pay Rs. 70,4541- lump sum (Ii case of contract
employee) or case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of
selectee in parent Department plus deputation allowance as admissible under
Punjab Government Rules.
. Graduate Engineer in Mechanical or Electrical discipline from a recognized
university (registered with PEC).
. Should have an overall experience of at least 10 years of which 03 years
experience have been spent In planning, implementation and operation of
thermal turbines of various technologies and associated mechanical
equments.
. Should be computer literate having experience of computing techniques.
. Should be conversant with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and
resettlement issues relating to Thermal Power Projects,
B. PUNJAB POWER MANAGEMENT UNIT
1. Deputy Director (Generator & Electrical Works) (1 Post)
. (Age Mm: 32, Max: 50 years)
. Pay Rs. 83,912 (lump sa) with 6% annual increment (vi case of contract
employee) or in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of
BS-18.
. Should have B.Sc. Electrical Enneering Degree from recognized
university.
. Should have general experience of 10 years of designing or
ereciionlinstallation or operation of Generators and associate Electrical
equipments of Hydro or other power projects induding 3 years relevant
experience.
. Preference will be given to candidates having experience of construction,
supervision, operation and maintenance of substations and allied systems,
selection of generators and control, latest engineering codes of practice
and related software.
2. Assistant Director (Construction Planning) (1 Post)
. (Age Mm: 28, Max 45 years)
. Pay Rs. 69,118 (lump sum) with 6% annual increment (in case of contract
employee) or in case of appointment by transfer, pay and allowances of
BS-17.
. Should have B.Sc. Civil Engineering from recognized university.
. Should have experience of 05 years of construction, supervision planning,
master programming and Unit rate analysis! costing of large civil
engineenng or Hydro Power Projects.
. Preference wl be given to candidates having experience of planning
software of P-3IP-5 or MS. Project etc. Auto Cad to compute the BO.Q.
. Officers of Government departments may also compete.

. These appointments will be made purely on contract basis for a period of one year
