Chief Executive Officer
Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC)
has been established by Ministry of Production to upgrade technology
and skills of key and strategic industrial clusters and connect Pakistan to
the global value chain.
We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead the company as Chief
Executive Officer, who has vast experience n technology management
and is well aware of the technological and related skills needs of the
country. The candidate will have at least 20 years of experience in
engineering industry/skill development, with a minimum of 5 years
been in a senior management position. Preference will be given to
those with previous experience of implementing technology
transfers/skill development initiatives that hove resulted in enhanced
productivity and competitiveness of a specific sector.
Candidates holding o minimum Bachelors / Masters degree in
Engineering may apply. Preference will be given to holders of Doctoral
/ Masters degree in Engineering, supplemented with a Management
degree.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to provide strategic
direction and execute the strategies to achieve organisations objective.
He/She should possess leadership abilities and have strong
communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. The
incumbent should have an exposure of working and interacting with
strategic federal/provincial government institutions and multi-funding
agencies involved in implementing new initiatives will be an important
requirement. He/She should be well conversant to advice on
technology policy, standards, benchmarks etc for the revival and
upgradation of various industrial sectors.
