. A candidate should be registered with Pakistan
Nursing Council (PNC).
. Preference will be given to those nurses who have
done post basic specialized courses i.e ICU, 01, CCU
etc from a hospital/institute recognized by PNC.
. Nursing Officers who got released from service
except the reasons mentioned in para 2, can also
apply.
MARITAL STATUS
Married, Unmarried, Widow, Divorcee.
NATIONALITY
Citizens of Pakistan and domicile holders of Azad
Kashmir I Gilgit-Baltistan. Upon final selection
candidates with dual nationality will have to
surrender nationality otherthan Pakistani.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS
• Minimum Height: 5’ - 2” (1 57.5 cm)
• Weight : As perthe Body Mass Index
INELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
. Twice rejected by the GHQ Selection Board.
. Declared Medically Unfit by Appeal Medical
Board.
. Individual withdrawn / resigned / discharged from
Armed Forces (Army, Navy and Air Force ) training
academies I institutions on the ground of
discipline, character, medical inefficiency, weak
profile or declared unsuitable.
. Individual dismissed / removed from any other
government service.
• Convicted by a Court of Law for an offence
ìnvolvinq moral turpitude.
3 ‘ REGISTRATION AND PRELIMINARY
SELECTION PROCEDURE
will be adopted:
REGISTRATION THROUGH INTERNET
A candidate can register on website:
www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk. Date and time
of test shall be intimated on individual’s
e-mail address. Candidates will report on
date and time given for preliminary test on
computerized roll number slip. Date once
given will not be changed. Candidates will
also bring along documents mentioned in
para 7 and will pay prospectus fee on the
day of test. Candidates must attain
working knowledge of computer.
REGISTRATION ATAS&RCs
The candidates may report at nearest
AS&RCs for registration / allotment of roll
no along with necessary documents
mentioned in para 7 and the prospectus fee
for completion of registration formalities.
The candidates will bring these documents
on the day of test as well.
SELECTION OF REGISTRATION L PRELIMINARY
TEST
Registration and Preliminary Test will be
held as perthe following schedule:
• Registration I251n15J2012
• Preliminary Test 25 July-27 July 2O12
PRELIMINARY MEDICAL TEST
The candidates will undergo initial medical
test at AS&RCs.
4] FURTHER SELECTION I
Interviews of successful candidates by the
GHQ Selection Board will be held at
Peshawar, Lahore, Multan, Karachi, Duetta
and Rawalpindi for which separate call up
letters will be issued. Successful
candidates will receive call up notices for
interview/medical examination / joining of
training through website as well as call up
letter. the final selection will be made at
GHD on the basis of candidate’s overall
TRAINING PERIOD
week basic Military Training at AFPGMI
Rawalpindi. After successful completion of
training, commission in the rank of Lieutenant
shall be granted to them.
TERMS OF ENGAGEMENTS
For 5 years initially, extendable for so long as
services are required with the consent of the
officer,
7 1 DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT
ASaRCS
Candidates will deposit the following
documents with AS&RCs.
• Detailed mark sheets along with two
attested photocopies of each educational
certificates / degree. Original certificates
/diplomas will be brought at the time of
test/interview.
• Candidates serving in Government’s
Institutions f Departments will render No
Objection Certificate (NOC) of the
concerned establishment,
. Attested photocopy of domicile.
• Photocopies of Computerized National
Identity Card. Old National Identity Card will
not be accepted.
. 6x Coloured Photos duly attested (front and
back).
. Crossed postal order of Rs:1 00/- infavour of
Director General Personnel Administration
(DGPA), GHûRawalpindi.
