                    | GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB FINANCE DEPARTMENT CONSULTANTS REQUIRED
 Finance Department has inter-alia been entrusted with the management, supervision and control of Provincial Consodated Fund
 ani Aoounts of the Province and matters connected therewith or ancillary thereto.
 Applications are nvited from the individual consultants/experts (domiciled in Punjab) having relevant experience for Strengthening
 Internal Financial Controls in Finance Department for better Financial Management.
 1. CONSULTANT I EXPERT, TECHNICAL (TREASURIES) (01-Post)
 Education:
 Masters Degree. Additional post-graduate education will be considered as an advantage.
 Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
 Demonstrable and oomprehensive knowledge of Financial Rules and Treasury Procedures regulating Receipts ana
 Expenditure from the Provincial Consolidated Fund (PC F) and Public Account (PA)
 At least 5 years experience in hancJing Public Accounts Committees (FAC) busriess on behalf of Finance Department
 Fully conversant with Governmental functioning Preferably a retired Provinaal civd servant in BS-20, who is well aware of
 role and responsibilities of Drawing & Disbursing Officers (DDOs), Collecting Officers (COs) and Heads of Departments.
 Ability to critically analyze and evaluate audit observations pertaining to Receipts and Expenditure arid suggest rreures to
 strengthen internal controls to aven firiar.çial defalcatians, frauds, ernDez.lenient anl prç>çeiural violations.
 .— Must have a flexible and visionary approach to probtem-solvln9
 — Ability to prioritize own work plan and deliver assignments n a timely manner
 have excellent oral and written communcation skills
 Understanding of computer software working wlI be an additional skill
 Duration: One year.
 Age Limit: Should be in good health condition with maximum age of 65 years
 2. CONSULTANT! EXPERT, INTERNAL CONTROLS: (01-Post)
 Education:
 Masters Degree Additional post-graduate education will be considered as an advantage

 — Demonstrable and comprerionsivo knowledge of Finanal Rules regulating Receipts to and Expenditure from Provincial
 Consolidated Fund (PCF) and Public Account (PA)
 ,‘ At least 5 years experience in handing Public Acocunts Committees (PAC) business on behalf of Finance Department,
 Fully conversant with governmental functioning. Preferably a retired Provincial civil servant in as-20, fully aware of role and
 responsibilities of Drawing & Disbursing Officers (DDOs), Cotiecung Officers (COs) and Heads of departments
 Ability to critically analyze and evaluate audit observations pertaining to Receipts and Expenditure and suggest measures to
 strengthen internal controls to avert financial defalcations, frauds and embezzlement and procedural violations.
 Must have a flexible and visionary approach to problem-solving,
 Ability to prioritize own work pLan and deliver assignments in a timely manner
 Have excellent oral and written con,rnun,cabon skills
 Understanding of Computer software working will be an additional skill.
 Puratign: One year.
 Age Limit: Should be in good heath condition with niaxlnum age of 65 years
