FOR WOMEN’S STUDIES
as per Terms and Conditions given below:
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (B-19)
Ph.D in Women’s Studies or Social Work or Mass
Communication from an HEC recognized
University/institution. No experience required.
OR
Master’s Degree (Foreign) or M.Phil or equivalent
Degree awarded after 18 Years of Education as
determined by the HEC in Women’s Studies or Sodal
Work or Mass Communication from an HEC
recognized University! Institution with 4 Years
Teaching/Research or Professional Experience in a
recognized University or Postgraduate Institute or
in a National or International Organization.
LECTURER (B-18)
Master’s Degree (First Class) in Women’s Studies or
Social Work or Mass Communication with No 3rd
Division in the Academic Career from an HEC
recognized University/institution.
NOTE:
JI those applying for the Post of Assistant Professorship
or Lectureship (excluding in-service regular Teachers
of University) are required to appear in a Written Test.
Only short listed candidates will be called for interview
and presentation before the Selection Board.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
j) Apphcations are required to be submitted on prescribed
Forms. obtainable from the Office of the Deputy
Registrar (Establishment, Teaching). University of
Karachi on Payment of Rs 350/- through Pay Order in
favour of University of Karachi.
u) Four Copies of Application together with a Pay Order
of Rs 600!- in favour of University of Karachi for the
Post of Assistant Professor & Lecturer Photocopies
of Marks Certificates I Degrees! [)plomas I Certificates.
Experience Certificates and Reprints of Publications.
¡f any. must reach the Registrar, University of Karachi
University Road. Karachi-75270 (Pakistan) on or before
June 20,2012. The Last Date for Receipt of Applications
in case of Pakistani Nationals serving/residing abroad
is June 30 2012.
iii) Candidates already in Government. Semi-Government
and Autonomous Organizations in Pakistan must apply
through Proper Channel.
iv) Candidates requesting Application Forms by Post must
send a Pay Order of Rs 400 within Pakistan and Rs
700 or equivalent from Outside Pakistan. drawn in favour
of Registrar, University of Karachi. Pakistan along
with their written request.
y) Those applying for the Post of Assistant Professor?
Lecturer must enclose Three Attested Passport Size
Photographs along with their Applications.
vi) The Number of Posts shall be considered accortiing to
the available Positions at the time of Selection. The
University also reserves the right to cancel any Post
advertised above without assigning any reason.
