Regional Coordinator South (1 position, Dl Khan)
Profile: Masters; at least 10 years of experience with development projects.
5 years of management experience; strong skills on team management and
motivation: well versed in collaborating with government and non
government actors and sensitive to deal with difficult contexts; knowledge of
KP and FATA; full proficiency in Pashto is compulsory.
1. Manage regional office, project planning, implementation and
monitoring in the region; efficient financial administration; contribute
to effective team building on gender sensitive principles
2. Responsible for coordination with Government and local partners and
the W4L project in the region
3. Collect and provide local feedback on security related issues
Specialist Knowledge Management; Up-scaling
and Networking (1 position, Peshawar)
Profile: Masters/post graduate; at least 10 years of experience with
development organizations. 5 years experience with senior positions in
rural development and in interaction with divers development actors and
donors; strong networking and collaborative skills; good knowledge of KP
and FATA; conceptually clear on up-scaling of development initiatives;
excellent writing skills and ability to motivate learning and innovation; willing
to travel across KP and FATA; sensitive to deal with difficult contexts.
1. Responsible for development and implementation of knowledge
management system, with specific reference to gender and
inclusiveness and document learning
2. Validate field experiences in policy dialogue, guide the process and
systematically follow up
3. Coordinate with the W4L project and thematic advisors to upscale
proven interventions
4. Promote forums, contribute to networks and support institutions for
sharing experiences, developing synergy, fostering partnerships and
promoting gender sensitive programmes.
Watershed Management and DRR Specialist,
(1 posltion.Peshawar)
Profile: Masters in forestry/soil conservation; at least 7 years of experience
with development projects working on the subject in fragile areas; 3 years of
experience in positions with backstopping function; well verse in
collaborating with relevant government and non government actors; good
mediation skills; keen to frequently travel to the field; proficiency in Pashto
would be an asset.
1. Devise strategy and provide thematic and methodological input with
specific reference to gender and inclusiveness regarding forestry.
watershed management, dry land management, CC and DRR at
policy and implementation level.
2. Provide thematic backsiopping and hands on training and coaching to
regional players
3. Validate field experiences in policy dialogue, coordinate with the W4L
projectand support in up scaling
NFE and ALC Specialist (1 position, Peshawar)
Profile: Masters in Education or other social sciences; at least 7 years of
experience with development projects on primary education. 3 years of
experience in positions with backstopping function; well verse in
collaborating with relevant government and non government actors:
knowledge of KP and FATA; keen to frequently travel to the field; proficiency
in Pashto would be an asset.
1. Develop concept and strategy for Non Formal Education/ Functional
Literacy interventions
