NCHD
The National Commission for Human Development (NCHO) was established by the Government of Pakistan as a Federal Statutory
Body. It is an autonomous body set up to promote human development. NCHD is involved in enhancing the Human Development
Indicators in Pakistan. It’s mission to promote Human Development by supporting Government Line departments, Non-Governmental
Organizations and elected officials at the district level in primary education, literacy and provision of basic healthcare services. The
goal of the Commission is to fill the implementation gaps and improve public sector delivery mechanisms to achieve the Millennium
Development Goals (MDGs).
Director Operations - Punjab
Responsibilities:
Ensures implementation of program design in accordance with DIP in the province for achievement of set targets. Conducts field visits for 12 days a
month covenng at least 4 districts per month and submits report. Eady resolution of issues related to Team Building, Logistics, HR, Administration and
Finance to ensure efficient working of NCHD in the province. Ensures coordination with provincial and district governments. Presentation of Monthly
Progress Report. Ensures decisions on all planning related issues in meeting with program heads. Forwards design related issues for further
consideration and modification to Program Heads and Provides input to programs during operational planning of the programs.
An ideal candidate should preferably be Masters degree holder in Management Sciences/Masters in Public Administration with a high profile
professional having at least twelve years expenence of dealing with provincial government officials, elected members and community.
