APPOINTMENT OF DOCTORS ON CONTRACT BASIS]
IN POPULATION WELFARE DEPARTMENT PUNJABI
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for appointment against 31 vacant
posts of Women Medical Officers (BS.17)I Incharge Family Health Centre on contract basis for
an initial period of three years In following Tehsils of Punjab:
Attock, Bahawalpur, Ahmadpur East, Hasilpur, Fort Abbas, Haroonabad, Mankera, D.G. Khan,
Taunsa, Tandlianwala Gujrat, Kharlan, Sarai Alamgir, Shorkot; Chiniot, Pind Dadan Khan,
Sohawa, Jhelum. Mianwali, Renala Khurd, Pakpattan, Khanpur (R.Y. Khan), Rajanpur, Kahuta,
Guiar Khan, Sheikhupura, Pasroor, Sialkot, Daska, T.T. Singh, Gojra.

Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Candidate shall be within 23-35 years of age. 5 years relaxation In upper age limit
across the board is also admissible as per notification No. SOR1 (S&GAD) 9-36181. dated
04-11-2006.
Academic Qualifications: MBBS with registrations of PMDC. Post-Graduation in
Gynaecology Obstetrics shall be given preference.
Domicile: Punjab
Quota: 2% posts for disable persons, 5% minorities.
Note: 10% AdditIonal Marks will be granted to the candidates who will be resident of
concerned Tehsil. Candidates must not have (a) been dismissed from any Government Service
or (b) been convIcted by a Court of competent jurisdiction and should not be Involved In any
crime of moral turpitude.
Terms & Conditions:
¡. Pay Package: Rs. 30,000!- per month.
ii. The contract shall initially be for a period of three years and Is extendable on satisfactory
performa nce.
III. Application complete in all respect shall reach to the Secretary, Population Welfare
Department Government of the Punjab, 58-Abu Bakar Block, Garden Town, Lahore,
before or on 21st April, 2012 in the working hours. Interviews will be conducted at Lahore
in office of Population Welfare Department.
iv. The incomplete applications and! or received late after due date shall not be entertained.
y. The complete bio data I particulars clearly Indicating name, Father’s! Husband’s name,
Permanent residential address and Postal address! contact numbers should be glv.n In
the application.
vi. Attested copies of all the testimonials including Matriculation Certificate, CNIC, Domicile
Certificate, MBBS Certificate, PMDC Certificate etc and others (if any) be attached with
th. application.
vii. The applicants shall bring original documents at the time of IntervIew. 10% marks will be
given to candidate having domicile of the same district in which post is located.
viii. The offer of appointments will be post specific and non-transferable.
No TAIDA is admissible to the candidates to appear for the Interview.
