The Government of the Punjab intends to hire the services of media professional as
“Media Analyst” for the period of two years on a market based pay package. The
incumbent will be responsible for making analysis of the print, electronic and social
media and to prepare reports accordingly to enhance the efficiency. He will propose
solutions for effecting media planning for boosting the image of the Government of the
Punjab. He will also be responsible for bringing about positive and constructive changes
in the conventional set pattern of monitoring & evaluation and to help upgrade effective
media strategy on the basis of media analytical reports.
An ideal candidate should be a master degree holder from a recognized university with
minimum 15-20 years experience of working in a reputed media organization or relevant
field with expertise in monitoring & evaluation of news and demonstrate ability to
evaluate development initiatives and suggest innovative information and promotional
ideas. Minimum age of the candidate is 45 years.
