Basic Medical Sciences
HEC Eligible Criteria
Ph.D from an HEC recognized
University I Institution.
PMDC Eligible Criteria
MBBS or equent me&al qualification
fully recognized/registered by PM&DC.
Post qualification: PM&DC recognized
Level II b and Level III qualifications
¡n respective basis subject.
Ph.D in the relevant field from an
HEC recognized University I Institute.
MBBS or equivalent medical
qualification fully recognized/registered
by PM&DC.
Post qualification: PM&DC recognized
Level li b and Level Ill qualifications
in respective basis subject.
Ph.D in the relevant field from an
HEC recognized University I Institution
OR equivalent degree awarded after
18-year of education in the relevant
field as determined by the HEC.
M.PhiI or equivalent degree awarded
after 1 8-year of education in the relevant
field from HEC Recognized University?
Institution.
PMDC Eligible Criteria
MBBS or equivalent medical qualifications fully recognized/registered
by the PM&DC.
Post qualification: PM&DC recognized Level II b and Level III qualifications in respective basis subject.
OR Equivalent PM&DC Level II b
and Level Ill qualifications in the
respective specialty approved for
teaching by SRC and recognized I
registered by PM&DC.
I Experience
8 years post Ph.D level experience
in the HEC recognized University
or a post graduate institution or
professional experience in the relevant
field in a National or International
organization will be required.
Three years teaching experience as
an Associate Professor in the
respective subject
OR Nine years teaching experience
as an Assistant Professor In the
respective subject.
5 years post M.PhiI teaching experience till 2014.
Five years teaching experience as
an Assistant Professor In the relevant
subject.
4 years post Teaching I Research
experience in HEC recognized
University or Postgraduate Institution
or professional experience ¡n the
relevant field ¡n a National or
International organization.
2 years teaching experience as
demonstrator before or after Level-li
b no experience Is required for
Level-Ill post graduation who can be
appointed directly as assistant
professor.
Minimum Number
of Publications
•1 2 Research publications in journals
recognized jointly by HEC & PMDC
(with at least 3 of these publications
In the last five years).
A total of at least five research
publications are required. Only an
original article published ¡n a
medical journal approved by the
PM&DC shall be acceptable.
Dissertation I Thesis shall not be
counted.
8 Research publications in journals
recognized jointly by HEC & PMDC
(with at least 2 of these publications
¡n the Past five years).
A total of at least three research
publications are required. Only an
original article published in a
medical journal approved by the
PM&DC shall be acceptable.
Dissertation 1 Thesis shall not be
counted.
No publication is required. But may
receive preference in selection.
PROCEDURE FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATION FORMS:
Prescribed application forms are obtainable from the Human Resources Department, SMBBMU, Larkana on payment of Rs. 750/-
(Non-refundable) for each post, through a Bank Challan, or Pay Order I Bank Draft payable in favour of Vice Chancellor SMBBMU Larkana
at MCB CMC Branch Larkana.
Application form with full particulars along with three photographs, CV (Not more than one page) ONE SET of attested photocopies of
documents such as Academics & Experience certificates, valid PMDC Certificate, Experience, including Research Papers/Publications,
Domicile, PRC and NIC should reach at the Director Human Resources Department, SMBBMU, Larkana on or before 9th April. 2012 &
