Chief Executive Officer (CEO) — Micro Finance Bank
A newly established micro finance bank is looking for a Chief Executive Officer who
can optimize the opportunities in this business arena.
. Provide overall direction, implement strategic goals and objectives of the bank
. Establish and manage relationships with the Board/Regulators/Stakeholders of the bank
. Establish and develop a sustainable framework for providing easy access to capital for the
unbanked population
. Ensure financial assets/resources are kept under acceptable risk level as directed by the
Board and ensure all regulatory requirements are met
. Develop a broad portfolio of innovative products and services for target market
. Ensure an efficient service delivery mechanism for maximum outreach of the bank
. Ensure strong controls and establish effective practices to mitigate risk to a minimum level
. Extend managerial, marketing, technical and administrative advice to core team and
guide them in obtaining the best services in the respective fields
. Develop and inculcate a high performance and values driven culture that perpetuates
. Put appropriate processes and systems in place to develop, nurture and retain talent
critical to business growth
. MBA - finance/qualified chartered accountant
. More than 15 years of experience as a senior micro finance practitioner or a senior
banker in the banking industry(e-banking or rn-banking experience is desirable)
. More than 05 years of experience in managing micro finance operations at strategic level
. Excellent leadership and communication skills
. Strong business acumen
. Familiarity with local banking practices
. Strong regulatory understanding
. Risk management
. Ability to build and manage diverse team quickly and effectively
. Local market credibility
At the time of appointment candidate’s age should be preferably less than 55 years.
Appointment will be subject to successful completion and approval of fit and proper”
