The Project Management Unit, Reforms Wing & Special Cell of Board of Revenue, Sindh seeks recruitment of following technical I non-technical staff for the following three projects on contractual basis.

(2) “CREATION OF GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS) FOR LARMIS”

• Post-Graduate degree in GIS and Remote
Sensing or ¡n Natural Sciences, Forestry,
Geography or Engineering with
specialization in GIS and RS.
handling GIS and RS application assignments
Including two years In a similar project.
• Experience of developing custom web-based and
desktop applications, working with ESRI GIS products
(specifically, ArcGIS desktop, ArcIMS, and ArcSDE
w/SQL Server back end) will be preferred.
. In-depth knowledge of relational database such as
MS SQL server. Must maintain current knowledge of
GIS technology, have the ability to work independently,
and able to communicate effectively.
(3) PRESERVATION OF LAND RECORD AND REVAMPING OF SURVEY SETTLEMENT AND LAND RECORDS AT
HYDERABAD.
Chief Survey Officer
(01 )
• Bachelors degree ¡n CMI Engineering from
HEC recognized Engineering University.
Sound knowledge of using total stations and
GPS as well as Surveying I Mapping software.
• Five years of experience in surveying using total stations
and GPS (rover and base stations receivers) with an
organization of national repute OR on a project of national
level. Sound knowledge of all GIS surveying software.
Survey Officer
(02)
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from
HEC recognized Engineering University.
Working knowledge of using Total Stations
and GPS. Knowledge of other Surveying I
Mapping software to be preferred.
• Three years of experience in surveying including a minimum
of one year’s experience of using total stations and GPS
(rover and base stations receivers) with an organization of
national repute OR on a project of national level. Sound
knowledge of other GIS surveying software will be preferred.
IT In-Charge (One)
02)
• Master degree in IT, Communication,
Electronics, Computer Science or
equivalent degree from recognized
university.
• At least 5-7 years experience of programming,
database design, local and wide area networks design
and implementation. In-depth knowledge of data
mining and storage technologies, tools and techniques.
Industry standard certifications viz. Microsoft, Cisco
and background knowledge of wireless & wired
networking will be preferred.
Terms of appointments:
î) Appointment will be on contract basis for project duration only. Extension will be subject to availability of funds and approval
by the competent authority and the service can be terminated by government on one month prior notice.
ii) Annual increments in the respective scale will be allowed as rise in salary per year.

a) Only shortlisted candidates will be called for written test I interview.
