Diagnosis Center/Advanced Lab KING EDWARD MEDICAL UNIVERSITY, LAHORE.
The King Edward Medical University Lahore, the oldest and the most renowned medical institution of the
country having one of the largest laboratories in public and corporate sector, has taken the pioneering
initiative to throw open its diagnostic services to the general public at large. Prof. Asad Asiam Khan (SI)
Vice Chancellor, KEMU, generated the idea to develop a new advanced diagnostic center that may meet
the standard and quality of International level.
Under the Project “Up-gradation of Diagnostic Facilities at KEMU and Establishment of Diagnostic/
Collection Centers in the vicinity of Lahore” the University ¡s committed to offer diagnostic serviœs in the
fields of Pathology and Radiology. For the purpose, the University is establishing a State of the Ait
Advanced Laboratory and a Diagnostic Centre at KEMU with first Collection Centre at Jail Road Lahore,
where the facilities of all the routine, sophisticated and specialized Laboratory tests along with Ultra
Sound, Digital X-Rays, CT scan and MRI shall be available at a reasonable and affordable rate. The
diagnostic services shall be offered round the clock (24/7/365).
