Save the Children seeks the following qualified and experienced individual. The following are
minimum qualification for the position along with illustrative responsibilities and required
experience.
Position: DRR Training Coordinator (01 Position)
Location: Islamabad
Job Description
• Conduct TNAs, develop training manuals/modules and presentation, design trainings
and develop capacity building plans.
• Develop lEG related Disaster Preparedness (DP) & DRR materials and training manuals
for the use of community in integration with various sectors i.e. Education, Health, CP &
FSL.
• Coordinate with Disaster Management Authorities at various levels including DDMA and
other line department members in an effective mannerto launch the trainings.
• Develop follow up monitoring mechanisms and documenttraining impact evaluation and
ensure its enactment in field through training officers.
. Write report of each training activity with training evaluation and pre-post test results,
keep record of training programmes.
. Take the lead in developing District and provincial plans on DRR and conducting
awareness and capacity building training for all the stakeholders.
Requirements
. Post Graduate Degree in Social Sciences
. Total working experience of 4-5 years and a minimum of 3 years training experience
• Good understanding of DRR/M concepts and issues; strong analytical, negotiating,
communication and advocacy skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently to a high professional standard
