Directorate of Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education,
Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh Karachi
has received funds from Provincial Government for opening of
Non-Formal Education Centers & Adult Literacy Centers ¡n all
23 Districts of the Province and re-opening of Closed
Government Girls Pnmary Schools in 1 1 Districts and engaging
tutors on purely temporary basis till the end of the projects
given below under the criteria mentioned against each:
CRITERIA FOR ENGAGING TUTORS:
Female Tutors will be given Priority.
> Tutor will be engaged from local community.
> The Tutor will be acceptable to the community.
p Community is Supportive of the Intervention.
> Qualification: At least Matriculate.
, Domicile I PRC of Concerned District.
> Possess Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
> Preference will be given to the trained candidate
from the BBSYDP within the community.
(b) Enhancing Girls Enrolment through Re-opening of
400 closed Schools through Rural Support Programme”
in 1 1 District namely Badin, Dadu, Kashmore at Kandh Kot,
Kambar Shahdad Kot, Khairpur, Shaheed Benazirabad,
Shikarpur, Sukkur, Tharparkar at Mithi, Thatta, Umer Kot.

community.

from the BBSYDP within the community.
(c) “Establishment of 1 00 Adult Literacy Centres in Sindh”.
In 23 Districts of Sindh
p Female Tutors will be given Priority.
Qualification: At least Matriculate.
Preference will be given to the trained candidate
from the BBSYDP within the community.
Community is Supportive of the Intervention.
> Domicile/PRC of concerned District.
> Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
The Programme will start in January 2012 in above
mentioned Districts for 06 months and under this
programme the tutors will be engaged on purely temporary
basis and also Honoraria will be paid as mentioned in PC-I
of the scheme(s).
The application along wIth two recent photographs
and documents duly attested should be submitted ¡n
the offices of District Officer Education (Literacy)
concerned. The last date for submission of application
is January 7, 2012.
The candidates will be selected purely on merit
basis through Test I Interview conducted by the
Selection Committee at their Respective District Offices
Education (Literacy). The schedule will be placed in
DOEs (Literacy) Offices.
The Director reserves the right to shortlist or otherwise
reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.

District.
