CABINET DIVISION
Cabinet Division requires the services of a dynamic, high caliber professional for the post of
Chairman, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OCRA). OCRA provides a professionally
challenging work environment. Result oriented professionals willing to work under a demanding
time-schedule and high standards of performance are encouraged to apply for the above
position.
Criteria
1. Highly qualified, preferably Postgraduate, from an internationally recognized institution,
competent professional of known integrity, with a minimum of 20 years’ experience related
to Law, Business, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Petroleum Technology,
Public Administration or Management.
2. Knowledge of corporate restructuring, privatization and investment planning.
3. Track record of senior level policy and strategy formulation.
4. Professional experience of public utility sector regulation.
Emoluments
An attractive compensation package corresponding to MP-l scale for top-management positions
in public sector would be offered.
(In case of selection, the candidate working in Government Department or Autonomous or Semi
Autonomous Bodies will have to resign or seek retirement before joining the new assignment).
Tenu
The selected candidate shall be appointed for an initial term of four years and shall be eligible for
reappointment, upon satisfactory performance, for similar term upto a maximum of 65 years
age.
