District Health Communication Support Officer (DHCSO) Eligibility Criteria
Qualification & Experience Required:
) A University Poet graduate with wcial sciences/community development background.
) Preferably 5 years of experience in community mobilization and/or working with
NGOs and NGO networks specifically in health.
) Should preferably belong to and residing in the agencies s/he Is applying for.
Competencles Required:
Proven Management. Supervisory, Planning, Implementing, Monitoring, Communica
tion, Presentation, Networking, Reporting and Analytical skills.
Good language proficiency iii English & appropriate local languages spoken in the
agency.
. Possesses good understanding of various .takeholders, especially Health, Education
Information. Media, etc
Familiar with the faiths, beliefs and cultural practices of communities (especially minorit)
community).
)‘ Willingness to travel extensively In local and remote areas on regular basis.
5 Should posses capacity to work as a team member in highly challenging and professional
environment.
Should be able to work Independently and under pressure.
Union Council Communication Support Officer (UCCSO) Eligibility Criteria
Qualification & Experience Required:
Graduation & above, with social scIences/communIty development
background.
Minimum 2 years of experience In community mobilization or working with
NGOs, NGO networks and liasing with Government agencies/partners.
5 Should preferably belong to and residing In the district s/he Is applying for.
Çpetcncies Required:
s Evidence of excellent communication skills particularly supervising
community level workers.
s Capacity of handling funds/accounting and reporting requirements.
) Posses good understanding of both social and cultural dimensions of local
population and high-risk groupe In the areas.
5 Medium proficiency In English language required (both written and spoken)
and high proficiency for local languages including Urdu.

DHCSOs are required For: Sukkur district, Sanghar district, Baldia and Site town. Sanghar DHCSO will also be responsible to supervise UCCSOs of TA Yar and Benazirabad
districts. SITE town DHCSO will also be responsible to supervise for Nazimabad and Orangi town UCCSOs
UCCSOs are required for Hyderabad (UC 10, 12 Taluka city), Dado (Aminani, Khudaabad), Kambar (UC Abad & Gajee Khawar), Khalxpur (UC Luqman and Shadee
Shaeed), Sangbar (Shadad Pur), flatta (UC MirpurSakro), UCCSO for TA. Yar (Taluka Chambar, UCCSO for TA. Yar (Faluka Jitando Marl) Gadap town, Karachi (tIC 8),
Benazirabad (Taluka Nawabshah), Jscobabad ( UC Dash, Rindwah & Ahmedpuz), Gulahan Iqbal Town (UC 10,11), Kashmore (UC Badsnl) & Baldia Town
