Aurat Foundation, a national non-profit and non-governmental organization working for women’s empowerment, seeks applications
from qualified and experienced individuals for its USAID-funded Gender Equity Program (GEP). This five year grant-making
program aims at providing grants to NGOs, governmental and non-governmental entities for advancing women’s rights and
empowerment under the following four objectives:
. Enhancing gender equity by expanding women’s access to justice and women’s human rights;
. Increasing women’s empowerment by expanding knowledge of their rights and opportunities to exercise their rights in the
orkplace, community, and home;
. Combating gender-based violence; and,
. Strengthening the capacity of Pakistani organizations that advocate for gender equity, women’s empowerment and the
elimination of gender-based violence.

Main Funvtions: Provide support to Program Manager to nianagc GEP
implementation at the provincial level. Supervise the provincial eam. prepare
quarterly/monthly hudget/repoils. liaise with sLib-granlees. represent GEP ind
manage GEP provincial eVents.
Skills: EnglishÍUrdu speaking/ writing and computer. communication
Qiialiflcatioii: Master Degree in Economics, lEšusiness Management,
Finance or in relevant Social Science
Experience: 3-5 years grant management experience. preferably in
development sector.
!%IaIn Functions Responsibilities may include. but are not limited to. the
following:
Assist Manager Grants in implementation of grants management
policies. administering sub-grants including sub-grant tracking.
preparation of different analytical reports. maintenance of sub-grant
database. Provide assistance in complete sub-granting process including
development of RFP. coomdinatc and supporting sub-grantces by
rcsponding to their FAQ’s, coordination and participation in proposals
review process. coordinating with sub grantees after the awards.
identifying challcngcs in succcssful program implcmcntation and
providing technical supports to sub grantees. where required.
Qualification: Masters in Mass Communication, English. or other
relevan discipline
ExperIence: 3-5 years releVant experience preferably with an NGO
Main Functions: Implement Communication & Media Strategy at
regional level. Assist in developing communication and inedia plans of
the program. assist in reaching out to general public and a large audience
through mass media on program plans & activities: prepare and send
press releases or briefs to media and ensure coverage of information
about program in print, electronic and web media. Prepare training
materials. modules and handouts.
Skills: EnglishlUrdulRcgional languages writing and computer.
communication
Qualification: Master degree in Economics. Development studies.
Management Finance or relevant social sciences.
Fxperience: 3-5 years relevant experience preferably with an NGO.
Main Functions: Identify and design performance questions, key
indicators and targets for each program component. Implement M&E
Plan at regional level. Prepare quarterly/monthly reports; liaise with sub
grantees on grant progress, conduct field M&E visits.
Skills: Qualitative and quantitative analysis, research methodologies with
field experience with diverse communities, English writing, computer &
