VICE CHANCELLOR REQUIREDJ
University of Wah is situated in the unique city of Wah having highest literacy rate in the
country. It is one of the largest universities of Pakistan in Private Sector. The Search Committee
of the University of Wah is seeking the services of a reputed professional for appointment as
Vice Chancellor.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: I
• Should hava a PhD Degree from a reputed foreign university
• Should not be more than 60 years of age on 1st January, 2013
• Should have to his credit quality research publications in jounrals of international repute
• The Candidate shall have vast experience of postgraduate teaching and proven record
of academic administration, strategic planning and financial management skills
• Experience in planning and management of higher education (adacemic, research and
top management experience should not be less than 25 years)
• A visionary individual with a pragmatic approach to take the university from present state
to the highest ranking in the country
• Possess distinguished reputation as a scholar and academician having close familiarity
with academic functions both in classroom teaching and research
• Capability and experience of resource management
• Leadership qualities for policy making in relation to efficient and effective management
of all affairs of the university
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Tenure: Shall hold office during the pleasure of the Government for a term not exceeding
three years (maximum limit on holding of office remains two consecutive terms)
Pay: Attractive pay package commensurate to qualification and experience of the selected
individual will be offered

• List of research publications
