Applications are invited from Pakistani,’ Foreign nationals to fill the following vacant posts on the prescribed forms available from the

CONDITIONS: I

Qualification:
. Pakistani I Foreign nationaí with Pn.D. in Geophysics from a recognized foreign
University.
.
Minimum 15 years of active teaching and operational research experience at
University level or with a reputed research organization.
Strong research I industry background with clear evidence of individual &
collaborative research or achievement in the industry.
Capability to integrate undergraduate and graduate programs into industrial
partnerships, while adding to existing strengths ofthe University.
. Should havesupervised atleastone Ph.D.
. Organized I Participaon in teaching conferences, seminars etc.
Publications:
. Fifteen (1 5) years research publications in refereed scientific journals preferable
in international journals (ISI).
Qualification:
. Ph.D. with specialization in Political Science, International Relations and other
Equivalent/ Similar field.
Experience:
. 1 1 -years post Ph.D. teaching I research experience in a recognized University or
a post-graduate institution or Professional Experience in the relevant field in a
nationalor International Research Organization.
OR
07- years of post Ph.D. experience with at least 12-years of experience prior to
Ph.D. (3-years of Pre-Ph.D. experience will be counted one year Post Ph.D.
expenence, counting all fractions), teaching I research expenence in a
recognized University or a postgraduate Institution or Professional experience in
the relevant field in a National or International research Organization.
Publications:
. 15-Research publications (with at least 05- publications in the last 05- years),
recognized forthe purposeofappointmentofrrS by HEC.
Age limit: 65-years
Master’s degree I LLB, with at least 4 years teaching or administrative experience in a
responsible position in a University or Education department OR Bachelor degree with
08 years experience as Superintendent in a University or Education Department.
Applications for the position of Chair MGCL and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Chair are required to submit four copies of
the application I dossiers on the prescribed proforma duly binded along with a soft copy on CD.
(ii) Applications for Assistant Registrar are required to submit in duplicate application I dossiers on the prescribed proforma
available on University webpage:www.qau.ed u.pk
The applicants are to submit attested documents (i) degrees I certificates (ii) experience certificate (iii) CNIC (iv) Domicile (y)
02-recent photographs, fully bound with a pay order I bank draft I paid challan (only HBL QAU branch) for Rs.2000!- drawn in favour
of Treasurer, Quaid-i-Azam University should reach to the office of the Registrar, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad on or before
13-1 1-201 2.
Applicants working in Government I Semi Government Organizations I Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel by
the due date and submit service certificates issued by their present and former employers, otherwise, their applications will not be
entertained. However, the University may entertain advance copies, if clearly mentioned.
The selected candidates will be governed by the Quaid-i-Azam University Service Statutes and rules I regulations from time to time.
