CAREER OPPORTUNITY
The Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) is a section 42. not-for-profit Company funded by Government of
the Punjab and Department foi- International Development, UK. PSDF is a funding organization which acts as a
financier of skills development /vocational training projects and intends to stimulate the market for skills
development for the poor and the vulnerable population of South Punjab.
PSDF is looking for energetic & motivated professionals for the following positions based in BAHAWALPUR.
1. Assistant Manager Technical)
. Provide technical input in designing of training schemes
. Read assigned reports and prepare b nefs
Assist management in designing appropriate bid documents (EOI/RFP) for procurement of training services
. Prepare comparative statements of bids and carry out analysis using excel
. Liaise with bidding entities to respond to bid related queries
. Prepare and finalise draft contracts for signatures under the guidance of Manager Technical;
. Coordinate and execute processes with Testing Agency for ensuring test of vocational skills of trainees
Carryout other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time;
Education and Experience)
MBA, BS Engineering or Master’s degree in a relevant field from FIEC recognized institution. At least 5 year
experience in a similar capacity. Prior experience of working in skill development projects will be an advantage.
2. Monitoring Officer)
. Assist Manager Monitoring ¡n developing monitoring plans;
. Implementing the monitoring framework foc PSDF;
• Assess the performance of third party monitoring organizations;
Education and Experience)
Masters in Economics or Business Administration or Bachelor of Engineering from HEC- recognized institution
with 3 years’ experience of working on Monitoring and Evaluations in social sector projects; monitoring
experience in skills/education related projects will be an asset.
3. Technical Officer)
. Designing of Term of References (TORs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), framework for the assessment of
course content, study plan, instructors, facilities and validation methodology of skills training providers;
. Carrying out desk research on skill testing methodologies and designing measurable deliverables of the
service providers;
. Evaluation of technical and financial proposals received from training service providers;
. Preparation of contractual documents for engaging partners;
Education and Experience)
Master in Economics/Finance/Business Administration or Bachelor of Engineering from HEC recognised
institute. Three years working experience on development projects, experience in the skill development sector
will be an added advantage. High Proficiency in using MS Office especially Excel.
1• Management Assistant (Two Positions))
• Assist in developing Term of References (TORs), Request for Proposals (RFPs) and different reports;
• Provide support in carrying out desk research;
. Assist in preparation of contractual documents, reports and proposals;
Education and Experience)
BBA or BSc (Hons) in Economics or Master in Economics/business administration from an HEC recognized
institution. Fresh to 1 year of experience in development/social sector projects.
Superior expertise in Microsoft Excel and Word is required for all the above mentioned positions.
