Software Engineer (Automation-FF)
Service Engineer (Feed Milling)
Purpose of the Role
‘ To be the starting point of all automation jobs
. To coordinate with mechanical department for all inputs
for starting a project
Key Outputs
. Continuously upgrades the software automation
engineering standards to suit local condition as well as
international requirement
. Contribute in time and cost saving
. Understand the process flow, prepare the document for
grouping, no of sections to start of the process and if
required coordinate with hardware engineering to
prepare the hardware engineering
. Preparation of the functional description and operating
manual for the plant control system process
. Responsible to carryout the delegated assignment with
respect to time management both in house and site
delegations
. Monitoring the time schedule of the project (SW
development in-house). Updating the project status and
time management format and notify the deviations to
the process team manager
. Assist the Project Manager/process team manager for local
and international projects
. Willingness to travel to project sites anywhere in Pakistan
& abroad for commissioning and after sales service
Qualifications Preferred
. B. Engg / Diploma in Electrical /Electronics Engineering
Experience
. Minhrrum 3 years as Automation/Electronics Engineer
. Programming of PLC and visualization (SCADA) testing
and commissioning of PLC based control systems
processing plants(SCADA system, distributed control system,
centralized control system)
. Computer literate and PLC & SCADA programming, Visual
Basic, SQL
Purpose of the Role
. To be responsible for the technical activities in the region
. To provide service and support to existing and new customers
. To support in enhancing the efficiency of machines plants
and processes
Key Output
. Sound technical quotient, willingness to learn, open to travel
• Understanding feed milling technology & process
Priorities of the role
. Responsible for the t&hnical and commissioning activities
for feed milling
. Regional Sales and Service Contact
Qualifications Preferred:
. B.Engg (Mech) / technical diploma
BUHLER
Skill & Knowledge:
. Technical and operational knowledge of an entire feed mill
. Understand keyfeed milling parameters like PDI,formulation,
operating efficiency
Experience:
. 2 years minimum relevant experience (preferably in a
feed mill)
