An international donor funded organization is seeking applications from qualified and experienced individuals for the
following positions in Islamabad
I î) Director Human Resources: IWorking underthe supervision of project management, the Director HR is responsible
for providing guidance and oversight to the HR department. S/he shall be responsible for Human Resource planning,
ensuring compliance with local laws, advising staff on policies, procedures and employment relations, and providing
expert advice on compensation and benefits and organizational development. Monitoring personnel compliance to
policies and procedures and implementation of necessary disciplinary actions or recognition of merit. Coordinating
with Project management during Annual reviews process. Communicating with HO on matters of human resources.
Experience and Qualification:
. Masters degree with 7-1 0 years of relevant experience in a senior management position preferably in
development sector.
. Knowledge of Pakistani labor laws.
. Experience working with a USAID funded project is preferable.
. S/he must also possess strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work under pressure. Ability to
manage multiple tasks while attending to details, demonstrated follow through and efficiency.
I ji) Manager Human Resources: Iworking under the supervision of Director Human Resources, the Manager Human
Resources shall provide support to Director HR in supervising the department and in implementing HR policies and
procedures. S/he will be assisting the Director HR in human resources administration including recruitment,
staffing, compensation, Human Resources Information Systems, benefits, employee relations, training, and
employment regulatory compliance. Serve as a liaison for provincial office support.
Experience and Qualification:
. Masters degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
. Familiarity with Pakistani labor laws.
. Experience working with a USAID funded project is preferable.
. S/he must possess excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
I iii) Communication Specialist and Technical Writer: Communication specialist and Technical Writer shall be
responsible for assisting in technical writing of reports, success stories, profiles and other communications
materials. S/he shall liaise with stakeholders and provincial focal persons for coordinating and collecting information
for all written material from all project regions. S/he liaise with Communicaons/Media personnel at partnering
institutions for event coverage and general awareness of the program using various forms of media. The position
holder will also assist in meeting the communications objectives with the larger Communications Team and
Implement communications outputs as per work plan.
Experience and Qualification:
. Masters degree in Mass Communications, Journalism or Public Relations with 5 years of relevant
experience
. Strong writing and analytical skills at demonstrated level of maturity, initiative and judgment in order to
organize and prioritize tasks, workload and projects in a fast-paced work environment.
. Ability to work long hours when required.
iv) Specialist-Media anI Outreach: The Specialist-Media and Outreach shall be responsible for creating internal
communication strategy, coordinating with the provincial directors and provincial government officials, to create and
implement a multi-media communication campaign. S/he shall also work with the Project Director, M&E and
Technical teams to design and oversee the production of four, high-quality, video vignettes that visually capture the
“overtime” impacts of the Project’s professional development activities.
Experience and Qualification:
. Masters Degree in Journalism, Communications or Public Relations with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
