I) Ph.D. (in Pakistan Studies)
from an HEC recognized
institution.
ii) 10 years Teachingl
Research in an HEC
recognized University or a
Post-Graduate Instution or
Professional expeence ¡n
the relevant field in a
Nabonal or International
Organization.
¡ii) 10 Research Publications
in internationally abstracted
Journals recognized by the
Higher Educahon
Commission or B.AS.R.,
University of Karachi.
First class Masters degree
in International Relations or
equivalent degree awarded
after sixteen (16) years of
education in the relevant
field (with no 3rd Division in
academic career) from an
HEC recognized
UniversityIInstu1ion.
Preference will be given to
candidates having research
and editing experience with
good knowledge of Urdu and
English languages.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
a) Applications are required to be submitted on prescribed forms,
obtainable from the Office of Deputy Registrar (Establishment,
Teaching), University of Karachi on payment of Rs. 350 through Pay
Order in favour of University of Karachi.
b) Six copies of AppIicaon together with a Pay Order of Rs. 600 in
favour of University of Karachi for the post of Associate Professor
and four copies of Application for the post of Lecturer, photocopies
of marks certificates of Degree/Diplomas/Certificates. Experience
Certificates and reprints of pub’ications, if any, must reach the
Registrar, University of Karachi, KarachiJ527O (Pakistan) on or
before 79-2O12. The Last Date of receipt of applications ¡n case of
Pakistani nationals serving/residing abroad is 21.9-2012.
c) Candidates already in government, Semi-Government and
Autonomous Organizations in Pakistan must apply through proper
channel.
d) Candidates requesting Application forms by post must send a Pay
Order of Rs. 400 within Pakistan and Rs. 700 or equivalent from
outside Pakistan, drawn ìn favour of University of Karachi, Pakistan,
alongwith their written request.
e) Those applying for the post of Lecturer must enclose three attested
passport size photographs alongwith their applicaons.
f) The number of posts shall be considered according to the available
position at the time of selection. The Centre also reserves the right
to cancel any post advertised above without assigning any reason.
