PROJECT: PUNJAS IRRIGATiON SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
Punjab Imgation and Drainage Authority (PIDA), an equal opportunity oìganization, invites
applications for its project namely “Punjab Inigation System improvement Project (PISIP)” from
suitb1e candidates of either sex for the following positions. The project area mainly falls In the
Districts of BahawaLnagar, D. G. Khan and Rjnpur. All the po.itions are purely on “Contract Basis”
initially for one year or upto 30.06.2013 as per provision ofPC-I ofthe Project.
1 . Mamager (Operatioa42—Po.a)(Mo.th1y Consolidated Rener*tio ol M.52,75Oð)
B.Sc (Civil Engg.) from HEC recognid Universities. Should have at least 07 years post
qualification cxpdnence in water management, development and operation of irrigation system.
Having experience of brganizational development and knowledge of accounts matters, morntoring
the performance of organization and preparation of performance reports etc.
OR
Masters Degree in Sociology or Rural Sociology or Social Work or Agri-Economics or
Anthropology from HEC recognized Universities. Should have at least 07 years post qualification
experience in water management, development and operation of irrigation system. Having
experience of organizational development and knowledge of accounts matters. monitoring the
performance of organization and preparation of performance reports etc.
Communication skills in English, Urdu and Punjabi languages. Should be conversant with MS
Office. Maximum age limit shall he 30 yeaxs
2. Manager (M&E) (02-Post.) (Monthly Consolidated Remuneration of Ra.52,750/)
Masters Degree in Sociology or Rural Sociology or Social Work or Agri-Economics or
Anthropology from HEC recognized Universities. Should have at least 07 years post qualification
experience in M&.E of ñ*nctioning of community based organizations with Public f Private
Organizations with special reference to water sector.
OR
B.Sc (Civil Engg.) from HEC recognized Univqrsitics. Should have at least 07 years post
qualification experience in irrigation system management, operation and maintenance or 7 years post
qualification experience in irrigated agriculture related fields, specially in water management.
Must have experience of organizational development issues and knowledge of accounts matters
monitoring the performance of farmers based organizations and preparation of performance reports
etc. Having excellent communication skills in English, Urdu and Punjabi languages. . Should be
conversant with MS Office. Maximum age limit shall be 50 years.
3. Manager (Reforms) (06-Poste) (Monthly Consolidated Remuneration of Rs.52,750/-)
Masters Degree in Sociology or Rural Sociology or Social Work or Agri-Economics or
Anthropology from HEC recognized Universities. Should have at least 07 years post qualification
practical experience in the field of social mobilization and developing community based
organizations with Public I Private Organizations with special reference to water sector. Must have
experience of report writing and preparing proposals, plans regarding new projects. Excellent
communication skills in English, Urdu and Punjabi languages. Should be conversant with MS
OfficeS Maximum age limit shall be SO years.
4. Secretary AWB (02-Poets) (Monthly Consolidated Remuneration of Rs.52,750/-)
MBA I Law Graduate from an institute I university recognized by HEC. Should have at least 07
years experience of secretarial work in large public! private sector organizations. Experience as
Company Secretaiy will be Plus Point. Strocg capabilities for conduct of meetings, presentations,
reporting and preparation of minutes of meeting etc. Excellent communication and intciversonal
skills are essentially required. Qualification I training from Institute of Chartered Secretaries shall be
