t-inance Department has inter-alia been entrusted with the management, supendsion and control of Provincial Consolidated Fund
and Accounts of the Province and matters connected therewith or ancillary thereto.
Applications are invited from the individuai consultants/experts (domiciled in Punjab) having relevant expeñence for Strengthenrig
Internal Financial Controls in Finance Department for better Financial Management.
1. CONSULTANT IEXPEL.TECHNICAL..ffREASUR!E (Ql-Post)
Masters Degree. Additional post-graduate education will be considered as an advantage
xperIenç,. Knpwledae and SkIlls;
,‘ Demonstrable and comprehensive knowledge of Financial Rules and Treasury Procedures regWating Receipts and
Expenditure from the Provincial Consolidated Fund (PCF) arid Public Account (PA)
At least 5 years expenence in handling Public Accounts Committees (PAC) business on behalf of Finance Department
, Fully conversant with Governmental functioning. Preferably a retired Provincial civil servant in BS-20. who is well aware of
role and responsibilities of Drawing & Disbursing Officers (DOs). Collecting Officers (COs) and Heads of Departments
, Abitty to critically analyze and evaluate audit observations pertaining to Receipts and Expenditure and suggest measurs to
strengthen internal controls lo avert financial defalcations. frauds, embezzlement and procedural violations.
Must have a flexible and visionary approach to problem-solving.
> Ability to priorItize own wort plan and deliver assignments wi a timely manner
— Have excellent oral and written communication skills
Understanding 01 computer software working will be an additional skiS.
Duration; One year.
Should be m good health condition with maximum age 0(65 years.
2. CONSULTANT I EXPERT, INTERNAL CONTROLS; (01-Post)
Masters Degree. Mdibonal post-graduate education will be considered as an advantage
Exporionca Knowledee and Skills:
. Demonstrable and comprehensive knowledge of Financial Rules regulating Receipts to and Expendïture from Provincial
Consolidated Fund (PCF) and Public Account (PA)
> At least 5 years experience in handling Public Accounts Committees CPAC) business on behalf of Finance Department
,. Fully conversant with governmental functioning. Preferably a retired Provincial civil servant In BS-20, fully aware of role and
responsibeties oF Drawing & Disbursing Officers (DDOs), Collecting Officers (COs) and Heads of departments
